He smiled and said I sent her to you from above
She is innocent, as you can see
And to the whole world, that is
the way she will always be
I made her special just for you
To love and cherish her whole life through
So when you wrap her in your arms
I know that no one can bring her harm
And when you see her smile so bright
Her little eyes light up the night
She knows me as we meet and talk
And in her dreams we go for walks
She tells me of your love so true

Dear Creator God,
I know Lord, that
the child You have given me is
Fearful, and wonderfully made.
I praise you for the Blessed
Gift, for I know full well that
your works are wonderful. You reached
Into my womb and knit this
child with your own hands. I know
That as long as I hope in you,
I will never be put to Shame.
But sometimes, Lord, I feel afraid,
and I need to feel
Your presence. I need to feel Your
hand in mine, leading
me beside still waters, where I can be
refreshed and made new.
I seek a peaceful bed in green pastures
where my soul can be restored.
On my worst days, I feel as though I
walking through the valley of death,
yet even then, I
will fear No evil, for You are with me.
No matter what today brings, I know that your goodness
and love will follow me. And I know that I and my sweet
child will dwell in Your House forever.
Lord, Today ask this of You. Send down your Messenger to
Guide us the right way to fine a
Cure for Rett Syndrome.
